The Mint has been named one of the National Capital Region's Top Employers for the fourth consecutive year, as selected by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers.
“The application process is very rewarding in and of itself as we gather all of the great things we do at the Mint as an employer,” said Angela Vanikiotis (Director, Talent Management).
This designation recognizes employers in the Ottawa-Gatineau region that offer exceptional places to work. The Mint received this award as our headquarters are in Ottawa, however the honour recognizes accomplishments and programs in both Ottawa and Winnipeg.
The awards program announcement cited several reasons the Mint was chosen, including a tuition reimbursement program for employees, academic scholarship opportunities for children of employees, retiring planning services and phased-in work options for employees nearing retirement, and compassionate leave allowances for employees who are called upon to care for loved ones.
