The Royal Canadian Mint (“Mint”) reserves the right to refuse or limit orders and/or subscriptions, and to change its prices and product offerings without notice. The purchase of all products is subject to availability. Products are not actual size unless specified. Advertised weights are nominal, unless otherwise specified. While every effort is made to ensure the information, images and prices are fully accurate, the Mint makes no warranty for the accuracy of same and reserves the right to make corrections if an error does occur without notice.

The date of shipment will be determined by the volume of orders received, product availability and other factors. Special shipping rates may apply to coin series. For orders of 6 or more coin rolls, additional shipping and handling fees will be charged.

Products that are eligible for payment plans are specifically identified as such on their respective product pages. Payment plans give you flexibility and convenience to pay for products over a set period of time. By spreading out the payments, products are now more affordable and in line with your budget. We will hold your product for you interest free to ensure your product is not sold out before we’ve received your final payment, and there are no added fees. You pay the same price as everyone else, but distributed over many weeks or months. For clarity, Bullion Product, Premium Bullion Product in special packaging or any RCM product advertised and/or sold with a suggested retail price greater than $500,000 CAD before any applicable taxes, are excluded from any payment plan offered by the Royal Canadian Mint.

Purchase price for the coins whether or not the purchaser has elected an instalment payment plan is due prior to shipment. Applicable taxes will be charged prior to shipment, unless the purchaser has a valid tax exemption certificate.

Coin subscriptions may be purchased through credit card only. After purchasing your first coin, you will automatically receive the subsequent coins in the subscription in the order currently stated on the product page. However, the Royal Canadian Mint reserves the right to change the order in which the coins are issued at any time without notice. The subsequent coins in the subscription will be shipped to you from time to time as determined by the Royal Canadian Mint; any anticipated shipment dates or timelines stated are approximate and may be subject to change at any time. For example, depending on when you enrol in the subscription, shipment dates or timelines for subsequent coins may vary. Subscription agreement may be cancelled at your request at any time with a phone call or written notice to the Royal Canadian Mint at the address above.

Coins that have minimum purity of 99.5% for gold, 99.5% for platinum and 99.9% for silver and issued as legal tender are exempt from Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).

US purchasers must provide a U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) or Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employer identification number for any order equal to or exceeding CAD $2,500.

The Mint’s Return & Cancellation Policy are a binding part of these terms. You can be assured that the Mint fully guarantees the superior quality and craftsmanship of its products. Subject to the exceptions below, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can simply return it to us in its original packaging within 30 days and we will gladly offer you a replacement (subject to product availability) or provide you with a full refund. In the case of a defective product, we will accept the return up to one month from the date of purchase. No cancellations will be accepted after product shipment.  Exceptions: the products identified as Bullion Products, Premium Bullion products in special packaging or any Mint product advertised and/or sold with a suggested retail price greater than $500,000 CAD before any applicable taxes, are final sale (they cannot be returned or exchanged, and are not eligible for refund for any reason). Exceptionally, in the event of a damaged, defective or incorrect product purchased through the Mint online (whether by mobile app or on mint.ca) or via the call centre, you may contact the Mint’s Customer Service Solutions Centre within 14 calendar days after shipment to request an exchange for the same product originally purchased (subject to product availability), where the Mint will, at its discretion, evaluate exchange requests on a case-by-case basis; once you have placed an order for the purchase of these products, that order is locked-in and cannot be cancelled.  In all cases risk of return shipment lies with the purchaser.  For more information, read the Returns & Cancellation Policy carefully prior to purchase. 

The purchaser is responsible for the payment of customs, duties, and taxes and, if the coins are returned due to the failure of the purchaser to do so, the purchaser will pay the return shipping charges and assume all risk of loss in the return shipment.

The purchaser expressly acknowledges that it is not acquiring any intellectual property rights in the coins, including, without limitation, any copyright, trade-mark, official mark, or moral rights in the design of the coins.
