Why is this called Premium Bullion? Your Premium Bullion bar comes presented in custom designed, Lunar Year of the Snake themed packaging. Each 10 g Lunar Year of the Snake bar comes hermetically sealed in custom tamper-proof packaging that highlights the traditional gold and red of the holiday, thus providing a stunning presentation and an extra layer of security to protect your investment.
Special features
- While our bullion products are typically available to purchase from authorized dealers, these specially handled bars are now available to you directly from the Mint, Canada Post and authorized dealers.
- Serialized. Each bar is uniquely and individually serialized to identify genuine authenticity.
- Signed by the Mint’s Chief Assayer. The assay certificate printed on the back of the card certifies the bar’s purity.
- Limited mintage. The Lunar Year of the Snake bar has a limited mintage of 3,888 bars worldwide.
- No GST/HST.

Includes the iconic laser-engraved security mark seen on Gold Maple Leaf and Silver Maple Leaf coins. Visible under magnification, the micro-engraved “25” confirms the authenticity of your investment.

Exceptionally, in the event of a damaged, defective or incorrect product purchased through the Mint online (whether by mobile app or on mint.ca) or via the call centre, you may contact the Mint’s Customer Service Solutions Centre within 14 calendar days after shipment to request an exchange for the same product originally purchased (subject to product availability), where the Mint will, at its discretion, evaluate exchange requests on a case-by-case basis.
